1. Salmon Croquettes Patty Recipe
2 Flaked Fillet Canned Salmon
1 Beaten Medium sized Egg
2 TBSPNS Of Diced Green Onion
1/2 Cup of Golden Bread Crumbs
Vegetable Oil for Frying
Heat the frying oil in a medium sized skewer. In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, green onion, bread crumbs and beaten egg. Mix well until all the ingredients are blended well with each other. Form into patties and fry them in the oil for two minutes until cooked.
You can make mini salmon patties and throw them into a vegetable salad for some texture. Alternatively, these can be served on a bed of your favorite sauce and served with mashed potatoes.
2. Salmon Croquette Burgers
1 Fresh Flaked Salmon
One large Tomato, Sliced
A Medium Sized Egg, Beaten
3 Tablespoonfuls of Olive oil
1/2 Thinly Diced green onion
1/2 Cup of Bread Crumbs
A dice of Cheddar Cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a spacious glass bowl, combine the salmon, egg, olive oil, green onion, salt, Pepper and bread crumbs. Mix the ingredients well and use clean hands to form into patties. Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the middle and wrap the salmon pattie around it to cover it in. Shape it into a pattie once more.
Heat the barbecue grill on and place the croquette patties on them. Cook for 2 minutes on each side and remove. Cut the buns in half, put the patties in, top up with a slice of tomato, a slice of lettuce, and then lay the top bun on top to complete the burger. You can use mustard, ketchup or mayo in the burger if you wish.

1 Can of Boneless Salmon
2 Finely Diced Green Bell Peppers
1 Finely Diced Yellow Onion
3 Cups of Yellow Cornmeal
Salt and Pepper for Seasoning
1 Cup of All Purpose Flour
Vegetable Oil For Frying
Hot Sauce for Serving
Ketchup for Serving (optional)
In a large bowl, combine the salmon, onion and bell peppers. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Pinch batched of the mixture and use your hands to form into patties and set aside. In a different bowl, combine the cornmeal and flour. Put the patties in the mixture and flip them over so as to coat the other side.
In a heavy skillet, heat an inch of oil to up to 340-degrees F. Place the dusted patties in the oil and cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from oil and place them on paper towels to drain off excess oil. Serve with hot sauce and/or ketchup.
This dish can be served on a bed of vegetable salad with red cabbage as the star ingredient.
1. In order to add a tangy effect to the salmon croquette patties, you can squeeze fresh lemon juice all over them while hot just before serving.
2. Spreading a layer of your favorite sauce, for instance, pesto sauce will add flavor and compliment the ingredients in the patties. You can also incorporate your favorite herbs and spices in the patties to improve flavor.
